Who are you and what do you do?
We are Roberto Bosco and Antonio Pannullo, dj/producers and owners of the label Last Drop Records.
Please tell us your story of how you got here?
We are friends from adolescence, when we used to get together with our friends in Antonio’s garage to play some music and from the end of 2014 we started our musical collaboration under the moniker of Ichinen. We released our first two releases with our solo projects: ‘Roberto Bosco - Sonorous Waves’ and ‘Kiny - Damaged memory’ incl. Iori remix. Then we also realised our first EP as Ichinen called ‘A morning without glory’ which includes remixes from Dasha Rush and Etapp Kyle; finally this year came our first album ‘Dual Craters’ that sees an Ichinen a little bit more experimental.
What are your music/art influences?
We love what for us is good music regardless of the genre, to name a few pioneers that as influenced us a lot we could say Arvo Part, Brian Eno, Mika Vaino, Moritz Von Oswald and other more.
“The goal we’ve set when we founded our label was to put on the market sought-after music and never be obvious. We just try to express our sensations and emotions without being influenced by market trends.”
Tell us the concept behind Last Drop Records?
The goal we’ve set when we founded our label was to put on the market sought-after music and never be obvious. We just try to express our sensations and emotions without being influenced by market trends.
What motivates you to do your music and your label?
It helps both to face with everyday life and the small difficulties of life with courage hope, and especially determination in the best way.
What are your future plans for Ichinen and Last Drop?
During the next months a new artist will come out on Last Drop with an Ichinen remix too; we’ve other projects but we prefer to disclose them at the right moment, however we can say that we’re working on the new Ichinen album.
Tell us a little about the music you have given us?
We had fun recording this mix selecting music that excites us and including some unreleased tracks of our solo projects. We really hope that people can get this feeling when they’ll listen to it. As we like to say... “Music is connection”
